The track of the massage chair is used to support the movement of the manipulator during the massage. Different tracks will influence the massage experience, massage coverage and methods of the massage chair. There are six kinds of massage chair tracks: no track, straight track, S track, L track, SL track and flexible SL track.
1. No Track
The manipulator can only moved on the track, so without the track, the manipulator cannot work, then the model can only be designed as a fixed point massage chair. The massage experience is similar to a massage mat.
2. Straight Track
There is straight track on the back, and the massage journey is from the neck to the waist. But it cannot fit the body shape, and short in massage journey.
3. S Track(Curve Track)
Fit the back curve, not a straight track. Fit the neck, shoulder and waist curve, support the manipulator to complete the back massage. The length of S track is usually between 60-80CM, fit body shape, but short in massage journey.
4. L Track
Designed according to human sitting posture - L shape, support the manipulator to complete back and hip massage. Usually the massage journey of this track is between 110-130CM, fit the body curve, not easy to deform, and support the manipulator to massage back and hip area.
5. SL Track
Combined S track and L track, the length is usually around 125CM-140CM, massage from the neck to the hip, and sometimes even reach to the hip. SL track can fit the body curve perfectly, longer in massage journey, cover the most body area. This is the most used track on the massage chair market.
6. Flexible Track
A track that just launched by some massage chair factory, such flexible track can support the massage chair to perform complete Thai stretching. However, due to the instability of this technology and cost, flex track has not been put into mass production by all factories.
The design of the length and shape of the track will affect the size and weight of the massage chair. Massage chairs with longer tracks are generally big in size, take up more space, and are more difficult to move and install.
